Language and Literacy Development

School Time helps children express their ideas, thoughts, and feelings through speaking, writing, and their ability to demonstrate early reading skills.

Executive Function

School Time focuses on the development of skills necessary for learning, such as self-regulation, attention, and persistence.

Social and Emotional Development

School Time supports children’s ability to express, regulate feelings and develop their social skills.

Physical Development and Wellness

School Time helps build large- and small-muscle skills, strength, stamina, and teaches how to live a healthy lifestyle.

Cognitive Development

School Time guides children to make sense of the world, and understand knowledge through different subjects, including mathematics, science, and social studies.

Creative Expression

School Time introduces creativity by exploring the art, movement and music.

Infant / Toddler Program (6 weeks to 2 years)

Infant & Toddlers will be discovering things using all five senses, copying simple actions of the teachers around them, exploring textures, colors, and learning a variety of words and sounds through story time, play time, and music. Toddlers learn best through play and movement. Teachers teach the toddlers to share, recognize others in the class.

Preschool (2 yrs. – 6 yrs. old.)

School Time staff focuses on teaching the children:

2yr. old – early 3yr. old: alphabet (recognizing letters uppercase / lower case, sounds), numbers (recognizing numbers 1 – 10, counting in order), properly holding pencils and crayons to Trace, using scissors properly, recognizing days of the week and months of the year, name, colors and shapes. Potty training

3yr. old – 4 yr. old: alphabet (recognizing letters uppercase / lower case, sounds + writing), numbers (recognizing numbers 1 – 30, counting in order), properly holding pencils to write names, recognizing days of the week and months of the year, colors and shapes. Memorizing 25 sight works by sight.

4yr. old – 5yr. old: alphabet (recognizing letters uppercase / lower case, sounds + writing), numbers (recognizing numbers 1 – 50, counting in order), properly holding pencils to write first & last name, recognizing days of the week and months of the year, colors and shapes. Memorizing 30 sight works by sight.

5 yr. old – 6 yr. old: alphabet (recognizing letters uppercase / lower case, sounds + writing), numbers (recognizing numbers 1 – 50, counting in order), properly holding pencils to write first and last name, recognizing days of the week and months of the year, colors and shapes. Memorizing 30 sight works by sight. Adding and subtracting single digit numbers. Preparing the children with skills needed for kindergarten

Each day is packed with structured activities around themes that help the children understand and develop their learning skills. With science experiments, create artwork, music & movement. This is the way children learn to follow directions and other key skills for learning success.

School-age early education for grades K-6

School Times before- and after-school childcare program allows kindergarten through school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities.

Spring & Winter Breaks

During Spring & Winter Break, children continue to develop and work on math, science, history, language arts, fluency reading and Arts & crafts.

Summer Break

During Summer Break, children continue to develop and work on math, science, history, language arts, fluency reading and Arts & crafts. Children also go on fieldtrips to local swimming pool, restaurant tours, movie theaters and parks.
